Frequently asked questions

1. How do I start lessons?

The following is required to start lessons:

  • Sign up.
  • Select a tutor in your chosen subject and course, and send a request.
  • Obtain the tutor's confirmation.
  • Pay for the lesson no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the lesson.
  • Enter the class platform at the appointed time, switch on your headset and camera — and start your lesson.

2. How does the platform work?

The platform supports video conferencing, facilitating voice and video image transmission. Video streaming is a useful tool for webinars and individual lessons. Graphical information is transmitted using an interactive board, which can be used for loading presentations, drawing or writing. The platform also supports a chatroom for texting.

3. How do I choose a tutor?

Go to the «Tutors» section, choose a subject on the left and find a suitable tutor (according to education, subject, rate, etc.) in the drop-down list.


4. Which subjects can be studied?

Any of the subjects listed on our site (which can be found in the left column of the «Tutors» and «Webinars» sections).


5. How much does it cost?

The student pays only the price of a lesson with a tutor (the course price is indicated in the tutor's profile).


6. How do I pay?

We currently accept credit cards (Visa, Master Card), Yandex.Dengi, and Webmoney.


7. What equipment do I need to start lessons?

You need high-speed Internet connection, headset and webcam (desirable).


8. Do I need to install additional software?

No


9. Can I study with several tutors?

Yes, you can select several tutors at once. Only make sure you avoid booking several lessons for the same time.


10. What happens if my tutor is late or fails to appear?

Normally tutors do not miss lessons and are not late. Nevertheless, if there is such a situation, write a message to the tutor (select the "Message" item in your Personal Account) to request clarification.


If a lesson is not conducted, the payment amount is refunded to the student's balance.


11. How do I cancel/reschedule a lesson?

It is very undesirable to cancel lessons but if the need does arise, go to your Personal Account in the «My schedule» section, find the corresponding lesson and click «Cancel the meeting».


Insert a comment and send it to the tutor.

If you cancel the lesson in advance(more than 24 hours prior to its start) or if the lesson is canceled by the tutor, the entire amount is returned to the student's balance.

If the student cancels a lesson in less than 24 hours before the lesson, 50% of the lesson's cost is forfeited.

If the student does not cancel the lesson, it is considered given, and the payment is forfeited in full.


To reschedule a lesson for another time, go to the «Ordered courses» tab in the «My schedule» section and select a new time.


12. How can I become a tutor?

To become a tutor, obtain an invitation/promo code from a tutor registered on our site.

After obtaining the code go to the site and enter it in the registration form.
